Lebanese basketball legend, The Tiger, Fadi El Khatib, has made the very tough choice that typically every Lebanese parent has to make at some point during their children’s teenage years. To let their children leave the country in search of a better future.
The Tiger’s Son Jihad, is an up and coming basketball talent who has a bright future in the game if he receives the right training and mentorship over the next few years. Maybe even the NBA one day to be only the second ever Lebanese player in the top basketball league in the world, after Rony Seikaly.
Jihad El Khatib is on his was to Turkey to train with one of the top basketball teams in Europe. Jihad, all of us Lebanese, regardless of all obstacles that we face, we always succeed and so will you. Keep your head down and make us proud like your father did.
